I have read two conflicting reviews on this back! What is the dynamic range and what is the color depth?

Thanks

The phase one site lists these backs with a dynamic range of 14 stops, the bit depth is I believe also 14 but I didn't see it spelled out, just an "n/a" for whether it had 16 bit. I've read elsewhere that it was 14 as well, researching these a while back.

Cheers,
Ray

Hi,

DR is probably around 13.5EV at the pixel level.

Color depth has no meaningful definition, as far as I know.

The IQ 350 uses a 33x44 mm Sony CMOS sensor, same as Pentax 645Z, Hasselblad X1D and Fujifilm GFX50S/R.

Best regards
Erik
