Printer test image for solid blocks of each color?
« on: October 13, 2020, 04:36:39 pm »

Can someone point me to a test image that will print the blocks of colour from my Epson?
I want to 'exercise' the head a bit, to try and clear a tiny nozzle block that won't budge with regular or hard cleans.

something with PK, C, M, LtM, LtC, Y, color blocks, etc.

thought I had one from years ago, but can't find it. thanks.

Try some of the files from here:

https://www.marruttusa.com/printer-maintenance/inkjet-printer-purge-files.php

These work OK and there are files for most Epson printers available.

If you want each individual channel printed, try QuadTone RIP.

Indeed Qimage has a function for it.

It generate patterns that are better than complete blobs (and do use a lot less inkt).

Use Qimage

When recommending an application (Qimage) that runs on only one of the two operating systems, in this case, Windows, it would be helpful to mention that.  Are there any other alternatives not already mentioned that run on both or that run only on Mac?
