Inkjet paper 17x25 availability?
« on: September 25, 2020, 08:05:27 pm »

I understand with the latest update, the PRO-1000 can print on 17×25 inch paper (up from 17×22). With this new capability, where can I find such sizes? I have only found Red River to be a supplier. Others? Has anyone good/bad/indifferent experience to report?

RR is almost it, but there are a few others like Breathing Color which used to have ( and may still, I haven't looked in a while) a few 17x25 papers.

Yes, Red River has 17x25" sheets.  I use them in my Epson SC P800.

Red River also has 13x28" sheets for pano junkies like me who don't want to buy rolls.

I understand with the latest update, the PRO-1000 can print on 17×25 inch paper (up from 17×22).

Actually, the latest update increases the Pro-1000's maximum paper size to 17x47 inches; the update to 17x25 inches was a while back. So if you want to get a 17" roll, cut long sections to make panoramas, and maybe de-curl it, then that's now an option. Also, apparently Inkpress makes some 17x38 inch sheets.

17×25 inch paper ... where can I find such sizes? I have only found Red River to be a supplier. Others? Has anyone good/bad/indifferent experience to report?

Yeah, Red River is probably your best source for 17x25, at least in the U.S., and they do have a bunch of options (https://www.redrivercatalog.com/browse/17x25-photo-paper-for-inkjet-printers.html). But B&H at least has a couple of options each from Moab and Inkpress (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/products/Sheet-Roll-Paper/ci/1118/N/3752970783?filters=fct_sheet-size_162%3A17x25in).
