Two misty sunrises on the Tuscan hills

I love Tuscany in every season, but especially so in the fall or spring, when mist can transform the landscape & the mood of your photos completely.



Sunrise on the hills, 1/40 sec., Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm, Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters.



Tuscan Sunrise, 1/50 sec., Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm, Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters.

Love the fog and along with the razing light on the soft rolling hills of southern Tuscany. That combination transforms the landscape and offers so many variations.
Bravo for those two superb shots!

 As others have said those are just stunning Vieri, I would be very hard pressed to choose between the two. Very, very, nicely done!

Hello Francois, yes indeed, mist/fog are an amazing transformative tool, they can completely change the aspect & mood of the landscapes we photograph and I love working in such weather conditions :) Thank you for your comment, glad you enjoyed the photos!

I prefer #2, with the vertical stacking of the diagonals going in opposite direcions. Well done.
