Exporting to Tiff
« on: September 19, 2020, 10:13:11 am »

Hello,

I am trying to export two files to tiff for upload to a printer. The files are in raw format, exactly the same resolution and file size, uncropped and are being exported using exactly the same export preset at a resolution of 200 pixels/in. One file is coming out at twice (approximately) the file size of the other.

Does this make sense? I would expect them to have about the same file size once exported.

Robert

Hi Robert,

With Compression? Image content may allow more/less compression.
Bit depth, 8/16 bits per channel?

Cheers,
Bart
