More snow than usual for summer! A nice change from hot and smokey but kind of weird!

Love the scene. I wish you had used a longer lens.

Early snow! Very nice landscape and I like the summer vegetation along with the snow on the peaks.

Or a drone, perhaps?   ;)

This is my longest for this system, 300mm (a vintage manual one). But one day I may spring for the Pentax 150-450 for a little more reach in these situations.

Nice, wouldn't have guessed it's summer though. I guess that when I revisit Colorado I have to consider snow as a distinct possibility.

This is my longest for this system, 300mm (a vintage manual one). But one day I may spring for the Pentax 150-450 for a little more reach in these situations.

I settled this by buying the Sony RX10 iv. It's as heavy as one of those telephotos and gives me a back up for the system. So that's my 300+ telephoto, often even 85+ in which case the weight savings are even bigger.
