Shipping prints
« on: September 02, 2020, 04:46:59 pm »

Hello guys!
I have probably a very stupid question: how do you ship prints to clients?
I’m struggling to find the best solution for up to A3+ size.
I’m not a huge fan of tubes as I’m afraid that rolling a 300 grams printed cotton paper may damage it, but it’s almost impossible to find a “flat” shipment package in A3+ size.
Any suggestion?
Thanks!

I used both heavy duty bespoke large bore tubes which I had made or prints sandwiched between ply. The tubes offered perfect protection for 300gm prints and were simpler and less expensive to send, particularly overseas.

Where did you get the tubes, Keith?

Jeremy, no doubt I have an invoice somewhere but where is the issue. I'll have a search and get back to you if I'm able to find it.

Thank you very much, I'll give a try to tubes!
Are you placing the print in any sort of protective sheet before rolling it?
Thanks again

Yes, I cover the print in acid free tissue before rolling.
