Now that is really cool, Jeremy. How did you get them all so sharp? I sometimes find that even f22 is not enough for such shots.

Edit: I just wanted to add that if you have any blue window skylight, I think bringing out more would greatly increase the natural contrast between orange of the tiles and the skylight blue reflecting the sky.

John: f7.1 and be there, to misquote. It was taken with my Sony RX10-iv, hand held, 1/250th at 143mm (the lens is 24-600, 35mm equivalent). Uncropped. The tiles are illuminated in that way only as the sun sets, so the sky has lost its blue, sadly.

I have the RX10-iii, and I am in awe of the Zeiss 24-600 lens and the stabilization that makes hand-held shots at 600 easy.

This shot is stunning, and the mysterious skylight floating by is a perfect foil for the tiles.
