Whenever I see this series, I always pause, taken aback by the sheer reality of death and decay and how well you have captured this subject. I have to reassure myself that it is part of a cycle that also includes life. Amen.

Eric, it puts me in mind of the casts of the Pompeii body cavities.

John, yes, thankfully a continuous cycle.

In many ways 'Dark Times' is the antithesis of much of my other work, although there are hints to be found within the 'Abandoned Lives' series. The series could be seen as a strange bedfellow given that it comes from someone who cares deeply for animal life, but seemed an appropriate exploration and deviation for these, our dark times.
