Great shots. I especially love the first photo but the last shot proves me that Elgol is - sometimes - visited by the sun ;-)
Thanks Francois - You know the weather in my part of Scotland (to my mind at least), has been particularly good for photography for most of this year so far - with not too much rain, or too much wind and at the same time not too sunny, but just about right. Which I don't know if that has anything to do with all those planes not flying and the lack of atmospheric particles that they must surely create or what? But all I do know is that I have probably gathered more 'good' shots during this spring and summer, than I have from the last few years combined. But even after saying that, I do still like a good full bodied storm to keep blowing through occasionally, just to keep the waterfalls full of water, as well as to add some proper drama back into the skies.
#1 is particularly interesting. I like the way the angular shape of the clouds mimic the angular shape of the rock.
My wife would agree with you about that shot Paulo, as she keeps telling me how 'clever' she thinks it is
Whereas I only thought that it was an obvious thing to do, to wait for that cloud shape to move into that position before taking the shot and which then took me no more than a bit of luck and patience to achieve, but which I also knew would allow me to add a sense of balance and repetition into the scene. So when she does occasionally throw me a compliment like that, I have to remind myself not to argue myself out of it by telling her it was just a bit of luck? So thanks again for noticing
