Great catch!
The shapes of the surf flows nicely echo her round blanket.

This is a terrific shot! I don’t think you could have gotten better shapes even if you were to draw it.

It not just the surf and blanket that have repeating shapes, but the ripples in the sand have them. Just superb!

Thanks so much for all your comments, they are highly appreciated!

That's looking!

Thanks Russ, I would add also "waiting" as it took me about 40 minutes until I got the surfs I liked :)

That's still looking, Francisco. You saw the potential and stuck with it.

Francisco, my I ask how you captured the image?

Sure Keith, the image was taken using a drone pointing straight down. The woman in the picture is my wife :)
I mentioned earlier that I had to wait 40 minutes to get the surf I liked, well that was with the drone in the air (with a necessary landing after 25 minutes to change the battery) taking pictures every time the waves came.

The other part of the story is that I was so concentrated in taking the pictures and staying out of the frame, that I didn’t realize I had a “cloud” of sandflies biting my legs. After a while it started itching so hard that I had to go to the doctor to get some medication.

Thanks, Francisco.

I thought it was likely taken using a drone. So much cheaper than a chopper!

And safer than peering over the edge of a high cliff.

You married a patient girl - or did she acquire the patience as a result of the marriage?

haha, she is very supportive of my photography, and besides, she was relaxing taking a little bit of sun, as many women like to do. :)
