Russ.
Very nice portrait.
The dark water really makes for a fine mirror.

Thanks, Thierry and Richard. At first light my little river is very dark and very still. Once in a while a fisherman will come rolling through with a boat, breaking up the reflections and making me think about assassination.

Russ, why did you crop out the bottom of the reflection, which would have made it an A+ shot? Inexcusable for an anti-crop crusader such as you. 😀

Hi Rajan. It's not cropped. I didn't frame it quite the way I wanted to. If you could have seen the conditions at the time you'd understand why. If those conditions return I may get a second shot at it.

Hi Rajan, Here it is again. This time I got the whole thing. Even was able to leave enough around the edges that I needed to do some cropping in PP. The light's not quite the same, but in two days the sun will start moving south again and in a week or so the light may be back where it was when I made the first exposure. We'll see.

That is very nice.
But what is that word you used? "Cr*pping???"
