Additions to the series Dark Times. Birds 3 & 4. Nikon Z7, Micro-NIKKOR 55mm f/2.8 Ai-S with FTZ adapter.

Looking at those feet, you could say those birds were clinging onto life even after it had gone somewhere else. Like some climate-change deniers and NRA fans - not to forget Corinna-19 skeptics to be found in the White House LuLa, I guess.

Never mind, a placebo fixes all!

Just a quick note about these birds. They were found in a naturally mummified state many years ago during the restoration of a very old cottage and barn.
