PSB image not displaying in Lr

I recently imported all my previous .psb files into Lightroom.  Most of them came in fine, but 5 of them have black thumbnails in grid view, and black images in loupe view as well.  If I open the images in Ps from Lr, they appear and behave normally.  Saving in Ps doesn't fix the image problem back in Lr.  I have tried rebuilding the preview, but nothing changed.

Any ideas?

What version of LR?
Do you see them in Develop outside loupe/grid?
Any difference if you toggle off GPU acceleration?

Lr Classic is at 9.2.1

I tried again making edits in Ps and saving, and this time the updated files rendered properly in Lr.  Odd, but at least it is fixed.
FWIW: v.9.2.1; and no change with toggling GPU acceleration.
