Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Dolomites - a classic view
« on: May 19, 2020, 01:26:21 pm »

The classic view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, on the Dolomites, on one spectacular October sunset. 15 minutes after taking this shot, the mountains were completely wrapped in thick fog... 1/20 second with my Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 21mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.

Thank you for viewing, best regards

Than you very much Eric! :) You seem to have a lot of guest rooms in your cottage, would you mind me staying for a day or three? :D

Indeed, is the Rifugio Locatelli :)

As far as I know, the Tre Cime have always been three, no recent collapses that I know of :) However, a piece of the Cinque Torri (Five Towers) collapsed in 2004, which is probably the event you are referring to. Best regards,
