Pro-1000 longterm inactivity questions

Back in January, I decided to start a small printing business. It was good for a little bit, and then the coronavirus hit and business had bottomed out. I used to be able to print 3-4 a day and now its 1 or 2 a week. My printer is a Pro-1000, which at the time seemed like a good idea over the P800 because of jamming issue that I had read about, as well as reviews, etc. Now that all that has happened, I have some questions about reducing ink waste while business is slower and going days/weeks without printing.

1. Currently the printer is set not to power off. Should I be doing prints all at once now, then shutting it off again? I was watching a jtoolman video saying that every 2.5 days it wipes 15ml of ink, and the dumps being upward of 50ml.
2. How often does it do a full flush of the ink if the power is turned off?

As a very general rule expect up to about half the ink wasted on the Pro-1000 (yep, that's a lot and not remotely close to the misleading print costs). That's been my and others experience. Unfortunately. Factor that into costs and sales price.

Thank you. One thing I did when I was setting it up was to double the price per ink cartridge in the accounting manager to accommodate for waste. So $120 as opposed to $60.

Should I just keep it on sleep then and carry on as usual, as opposed to shutting it down?

That's exactly what I do. Double cost in accounting manager and keep on idle / always on / no power off.
