Confined beach
« on: April 26, 2020, 04:00:38 am »

I live 5 minutes away from Carcavelos beach, near Lisbon. It is a short walk that I try to do every day, under the confined/quarantine that Portugal, like many other countries, is following. It is one of my usual places for photography.

A few days ago I went with my daughter, at the end of the day. Clouds were piling over the fort, made for an interesting shot.

Fujio XH1 with 35mm f/1.4 lens, RAW processed with Velvia B&W in SE Pro using Fine Art plus Red filter.

Regards and stay safe.

Lovely beach and shot. I prefer the B&W although the deep blue of the ocean is very appealing to me (in the color version, of course).

The B&W is much the more interesting. I think there's scope to emphasise the sky a little more without its looking over-cooked.

A fine shot. I also prefer the B&W for the reasons others have stated.
