Size of Ink Cartridges That Ship with HP Designjet Z9+
« on: April 19, 2020, 10:53:18 am »

I am considering buying a Z9+ printer.  HP doesn't list the size of the starter cartridges that ship with the Z9+.  Does anyone know the size?  Does the 44 inch model ship with larger cartridges than the 24 inch model?  How much ink is used for the initial charging of the printheads?

Thanks for any info.

OK, finally found part of the answer.  Certainly the size is well hidden by HP.  Apparently the cartridges are 69 ml each and the same for the 44 inch model:

Not sure how many prints can be made before shelling out for some 300 ml cartridges at about $146 each or which inks get used up the fastest.

You quickly find out with the 70ml- and you need to have them all so your answer will come just by using it; In the Z3200/3100 HP built up colour from grey + colour if possible so grey ink will go quickly as gloss enhancer if you use glossy papers.
