Pentacon 135mm f/2.8 BOKEH MONSTER
« on: April 18, 2020, 03:32:33 pm »

One of the most unique lenses I have ever owned. This one is call the Bokeh Monster for good reason. Beautiful glass out of East Germany accompanied by a textured 15 blade (de clicked aperture) make this lens a stunner. The lens comes with an adapter for M42 to Sony E-Mount. Here are some examples of what people make with these lenses:

Price is $300

This is not "...glass out of West Germany...".
Pentacon was the camera/lens (among other electronic products) manufacturer based in Dresden, East Germany.
Some of their lens lines were produced by Zeiss/Jena, East Germany and branded Pentacon.
Could still be a fine lens.

My apologies, have updated the post. the barrel of the lens is marked "German Democratic Republic". I made the mistake of whether that was West or East. But yes, the glass is stunning.
