Interesting stats.
Germany is touted as doing a great job with covid. They have a population of about 90 million. Rounded upward current numbers are 165K cases and 7,000 deaths.
If we take the three largest States in the US, Calfornia, Texas and Florida and combine them we get a population of around 90 million.
With the same rounding, Calif has 55K cases and 2300 deaths. Texas has 32K cases and 900 deaths. Florida has 36K cases and 1400 deaths.
Totaled: 123K cases and 4600 deaths.
So how does that compare to the "gold standard", Germany?
Interesting numbers.
Now how do you explain the 63,000 additional casualties in the rest of the country? Are they all to blame on the Democrat mayor of NY?
Do you not think that a significant part of these could have been avoided had the right measures been taken faster? Had the President done his job of protecting the life of his citizens instead of prioritizing non measures he - by misjudgment as it will turn out - thought would optimize his chances of being re-elected?
I am really puzzled that you fail to admit that even today. It makes me wonder about your values, how you got to this point of looking at things that way. I can understand why you hate the opponents of Trump but I would be really interested in a genuine explanation of your motivation to keep supporting him against all odds.
Those are two genuine questions to a person smart enough to be able to tell who is the smartest.
Cheers,
Bernard
