Really?  That's the answer?

If so, why is talk radio invariably right-biased?  Is that also explained by "for some reason"?

The same accusation is also frequently aimed at educational institutions.  Is academia also biased left "for some reason"?

Well, there are as many left as right cable and radio news programs today.  Originally, however, many of the first cable news and talk programs were more conservative.  They were responding to the fact the broadcast TV and radio (CBS, NBC, ABC) were democrat and liberal leaning.  The most politically influential newspapers, the Washington Post and the NY Times, reflected their sentiment.  Except for the rare William Buckley, there were few voices on the right.  Cable and radio gave conservatives the opportunity to serve a conservative audience.  People like Limbaugh and others who followed him, and then Fox took up the conservative banner.  The liberal left stations still own the broadcast airways.  So conservative voices have been pretty limited to cable and radio.

The press is embarrassed that Hillary didn't win who they swore would win.  They can't stand the fact Trump, the non-political outsider, brushed aside the Bushes during the nomination process. It's driven them all crazy.  They're beside themselves.  In addition, the owners and managers of cable, the press and broadcast TV are joined at the hip with traditional political insiders, on both sides, Republican and Democrat, although more of the latter.  Trump is an outsider and a threat to the regular insiders who run the country especially politics in Washington DC and NYC.  They want him out of there even if it takes a senile old man to replace him.  They'll find a  Rasputin to pull the strings on their puppet once he becomes president.  But they are desperate to get Trump out of there and get things back to normal where they can exercise the power they've been used too.

Point well taken. But the truth is much of the drama was created by his enemies and press.  Sure, he played into it like the drama queen he is.  But the whole Russian collusion was a hoax to destroy him followed by everything else including the impeachment.  Just think how boring life will be if Biden wins. The Coffee Corner will die.

The press would have been fully supportive of Trump had he been a good president making America great again.

So your are looking for a left conspiracy as an explanation when the obvious truth is that the reason why 95% of the press is against Trump is because you have to be a fanatic to support him today.
