Here is a perfect example of how seriously bad the news media is today.  A story from today:

"Obviously, no one is going to deny that. But what goes into those decisions is complicated," added Fauci, who is a key member of the Trump administration's coronavirus task force. "But you're right, I mean, obviously, if we had right from the very beginning shut everything down, it may have been a little bit different. But there was a lot of pushback about shutting things down back then."

That looks really grim for Trump and CNN got the headline they wanted.  But is that where a real honest media should have stopped?  Not just CNN but all the media hyping this story  They want us to believe they "dig for the truth" but do they?

Fauci is one of the main folks giving the president advice.  Did any of these asteemed news gatherers even do a little bit of research?  Tapper when for the kill shot on Trump, but was it correct?

Lets look at what Fauci told the today show on Feb 29th.

"Right now, at this moment, there is no need to change anything you are doing on a day by day basis. Right now the risk is still low but this could change."

In other words, FAKE NEWS.  CNN had to be fully aware of Fauci's previous statements.  They went for a fake news headling instead of searching for the truth.  Why would they look for the truth?  It would have hurt their desire to take Trump down.

And of course the rest of the lemmings in the fake news jsut followed rihgt along. they have a narrative and facts be damned the are going to stick to it.

Oh geeze James.   Tapper gets his fake headline even though it contradicts Fauci’s own words.  And the rest of the media trumpets the fake headline.  Welcome to the wonders of fake news.

Real news would have questioned Fauci about how his CNN statement  squared with his Feb29 statement.  But we don’t have real news, do we?  But they got the headline they wanted, didn’t they?

Personally I think the idea of China purposing releasing this to be kind of bonk, and they are just trying to cover up fro embarrassment just like the USSR did after Chernobyl.

The Wuhan virology institute has been for the last decade publishing that they have been harvesting bat corona viruses to study from the wild, and the wet market that this was suppose to come from does not sell bat.  So, this creates a strong probability that this virus accidentally escaped the facility.  If so, and since the lab is government run, this would be a huge embarrassment to China, so them engaging in damage control makes sense. 

This is similar to the Soviet Union initially creating a cover story and restricting western access at first after Chernobyl.

Weirdness on  my website:

I've been getting countless hits on the contact page of my website for days now.  Its all only hits to the contact page. All from Russian webites.  I wonder if the page has somehow been altered in some way.  I renamed the file so now it gives a 404 error but I wonder what is going on?

I'm pretty clueless on all things web design and this is site I made myself in dreamweaver many years ago.  Anyone have any clues?  My contact page does not have any forms etc. 

Maybe its time for a new site.
