Green colorcast on B&W chromaluxe metal need grayscale icc profile for dye sub

I have a P8000 that I converted to dye sublimation from new. I made my own color icc profile and the output is stunning.
I am getting more requests for larger B&W chromaluxe metal prints now that I have a larger press. I just cannot get rid of the green colorcast no matter what I do and I have tried everything. Seems like it can be adjusted out but I think the better route would be to make a new grayscale profile. The dye sub inset has 2 grays and the black. I use the i1 PhotoPro 2 and also have QTR. Lightroom and Photohop cc. I cannot get into the B&W mode with the P8000 because the transfer paper I am printing on is a plain paper which locks out B&W mode in QTR.
Not my area of expertise so I am seeing if someone can walk me through this to get up to speed. I have stopped taking orders for B&W metals until I get this straightened out.

Not sure why QTR locks out Plain paper?
Could you set another media type and adjust the ink loading in QTR?
By QTR, do you mean Epson ABW, by any chance?
Have you tried the QTR list? A lot of folks with specific knowledge over there.
Does QTR, itself even support P8000?
Grayscale profile will only control gradation and not hue. Obviously, QTR or ABW can control hue.

Hi,

Try to use a rip program. They offer CMYK output, and with that comes CMYK profiles. You then could create a profile that has a heavy GCR (gray component replacement) to eliminate gray balance problems. If the rip does not have a profiling capability, then your i1Profiler license must be converted to support CMYK profiles.

I have the 8 color dye sub inkset with the two grays. When you said "gray component replacement" did you think I had a CMYK inkset or am I misunderstanding you?
