Enys Dodnan Arch at sunset
« on: March 24, 2020, 02:59:42 pm »

Photographing Cornwall feels like working between land, sea and sky - almost like working where land ends. This is never more true than while photographing Cornwall's Land's End, when looking towards the ocean you know that the next patch of land is Newfoundland. Enys Dodnan Arch at sunset, 45 seconds with my Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 21mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.

Thank you for viewing, best regards

Subtle, pastel palette and creamy sky… it's a beauty!

I was there a few weeks ago as a storm rolled in. The winds were around 50 - 70 mph, so no long exposures. At times I had to lie down to get a shot because there was no way of standing up without swaying considerably in the wind. Needless to say, I'm jealous of the conditions you had. Lovely shot.

Thank you very much Bill, glad you liked it! :) Yes, when there is wind at Land's End (which is often!), it's not really one of the easiest places on the planet to shoot, so to speak  :D
