Site Matters
« on: March 18, 2020, 04:43:01 am »

Has my computer been compromised, or has everyone else lost content in the "Site Matters" part of LuLa?

I also get a stack of ads where none existed before - after logging in.

This is no longer comfortable connectivity.

Rob

I can open Site and Board Matters normally
As for ads, I started to get them short ago, then some people complained and now I don't get them anymore.
Maybe if you pay your 1$ a month? Just joking

I'm not seeing any ads. Using Opera browser on Windows 8.1, and I'm a paying member.

"Site and Board Matters" is the first slot that appears - or rather, appeared at the top of the Forum directory. It's still there as a tile, but just as an empty box.

It used to be the location for site announcements etc.

P.S.

Now I have it back.

Ah, yes, Site & Board Matters.

In bad times, the occasional good event is worth noting:

Some mother just won 63,600,033 Euros on Euromillones, and they have now closed all lotteries for the foreseeable future, just to stop me having my turn. There should be a law about it! I mean, even that otherwise useless 33 Euros coming my way would have proved most valuable in buying some of that kitchen roll that's not on the shelves.

Grrrr...

P.S.

For Britain, they need to learn the lessons of WW2 and issue ration books. They even did it for petrol in '56 with the Suez crisis, so the system is not unkown, and would keep some printers working.

Maybe we could become world leaders in something in this crisis.

;-)
