P800 won't detect small custom sized paper

Hello dear LuLa community,

I have the daunting task of printing 420 sheets on Tecco BT270 Baryta paper with my Epson P800 using MacOS Mojave, LR and the current Epson driver. I've had it cut by Tecco to the custom size of 13x18cm (5,12x7,09 Inches).

Now, for obvious reasons, I'm hoping to print all 420 sheets using the sheet feeder (in batches of 5 or so) – but no luck so far.

I have entered the custom dimensions within LR (page setup) and I also entered the custom dimensions on the printer's custom menu via its little display. If I hit the print button in LR, there's an error message in the spool window informing me that the paper (source) specified in the driver doesn't correlate with whats actually happening at the printer – BUT IT DOES.

It's driving me crazy, honestly.

Any hints on how to print on my pile of 420 custom-cut sheets I have lying around?

I use Windows and in that driver, there is a place to specify and save a custom sheet size.

I use odd sizes of paper regularly and never use the actual physical panel on the printer for setting anything.

I would see if there is a way in  Mac driver to set the sheet size and do it there rather than on the printer.

This is the protocol in LR:

Page Setup
   Paper Size
      Manage Custom Sizes
            Create a custom size, save it

Print Settings
   Printer settings (in the drop menu that starts with Layout)
         Make sure that Page Setup is set to Sheet, for some reason it can come up as Roll when a Custom size is first created.

Save a preset for your custom size.

If you want to use metric sizes you first need to go to main Preferences; Language and Region; Advanced; Measurements Units.  You cannot switch between Imperial and Metric measurements directly in LR or PS.

I now wasted 5 hours of my life (and hopefully not too many minutes of yours) to find out the error lies firmly in the DUH! territory:

My paper sheets are cut in 18x24cm sheets (the way they should!) but for whatever reason, my brain wanted to believe all along that I'm going to print on 13x18cm sheets instead. No wonder my P800 behaved the way it did
