Fairyland point is a eight mile hike in Bryce national park. My wife and I had never been on this particular trail but we didn't want to be with a big crowd and with festivities going on that was a danger. Fortunately our fears were unfounded. We met a total of three people on the trail which meant we had it pretty much to ourselves. The trail was muddy, very muddy with slick ice spots sprinkled in for good measure. Our hiking shoes are still in the back of my trunk with red clay clinging to them! But it didn't stop us from seeing wonders. Literally around each corner we would find something that took our breath away. The weather was perfect, the sights were perfect and this playground of the gods was ours...the grandeur of Bryce.
