Excellent. A strong composition which can be a challenge with wildlife!

It’s a lovely nature shot, colorful and well composed. Striking the pose is icing (pardon the pun) on the cake.

Thanks, all.

Lunch is coming. They have cameras too.

He (or she) was, according to our driver's range finder, about 200m away; and we were in a Zodiac, about 50m offshore. I don't think there was any danger.

Reminds me of the joke about a couple of ramblers, who were half-way across a field when they spotted a bull. The farmer was leaning on a nearby fence.

"Excuse me: is this bull safe?"

"Oh, he's safe, sure. Safe as houses."
<reflective pause>
"Can't say the same about you, though."

Reminds me of the joke

The one I always think of is the one that says you don't have to be able to run faster than the bear, just faster than another member of your party.
But when I'm out with just the dog that makes me the slow one!  :o
