Hmm. Looking at the leash I'd say that the dog is walking him  ;)
Just a little joke

Ha - yes - here is a picture from many years ago where that literally is happening!

Both shots are excellent. I like the general mood of the first one and the more geometric framing of the second one (with the diagonal leash and the more panoramic aspect ratio).

Thank you Francois!  To be open - they were both set up by me - the colour one at a wedding on a wet grey day (the rain had a lull), and the first picture in mono was a lifestyle picture of the guy for his employer.

Nonetheless, they're both good. And instead of street, the second one is beach.  ;D

Absolutely Russ. Only there to illustrate dog walking the owner!

Jim, did you include the young woman and little girl in the setup for the first one or did that just happen?

Oh no, they just happened to be there. I wouldn’t have bothered posting the picture here otherwise. I think they add something. The client would not have been interested in them, but whenever I’m working as a photographer I get pleasure from incorporating my personal enjoyment into the picture making. I think they perhaps make the image more ‘Street’ than just the man and his dog.

Absolutely. No question about it. And the beauty of the thing is that neither is recognizable, so you don't have a model release problem.

That is true, though the picture would only be used by the client for editorial purposes rather than any sort of marketing. Glad you like it anyway.
