Change date/time stamp in Capture One 11
« on: February 18, 2020, 01:33:53 am »

I did several shoots in Europe and forgot to change the time zone on my camera.

Now all the shots are off by 9 hours, and some images are also on the wrong date.

Is there are way to batch change the time and date of files to get them into the local time they were shot in?

Use the free ExifToolGUI.  It also allows you to rest all of the other dates associated with the file to the new Capture time/date, such as file date, date modifies etc. This prevents any confusion in other software eg File explorer.

Yes, ExifToolGUI is Windows only. It is a GUI front end for Phil Harvey's ExifTool utility. This is the software used by most programs that manipulate Exif. There is a Mac version available but ExifTool is a command line program so you have to be OK with that.

ExifTool is updated regularly with the latest update being 20 Feb 2020.

Yes, and at the bottom of that page one can find links to some other projects that use ExifTool, e.g. in the shape of a GUI that makes the use of the Commandline utility a bit easier.
