Thank you all for the kind feedback on the print. Seeing your images at this scale is really exciting. Its incredible to feel like you are standing in the fog. This image was from the Smoky Mountains area. Its a young forest so the forest can be very chaotic in structure.
The image was captured using a Phase One XF IQ4 150 using the Schneider 150 2.8 Lens. It was a 8 image stitch. The stitch was put together using PTGui. There were no issues with the stitch. Some minor dodging and burning and slight colour correction. I proofed the print on my Canon IPF8400 with Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta. Since this was a Phase One event with Bear Images of San Francisco - Jim from Bear images printed the image on his 60 inch printer. If I printed it the cost would be to high. I sent the file to Jim. The paper used was different from my normal Hahnemuhle Paper. I felt the print was a tiny bit cyan compared to my proof print. Jim's paper was not as white a stock base as mine.
I have some other images from the talk and show that I will share in another post. There were 5 43" x57", 2 30" x 90", 2 23" x 69", and 2 30" x 40" prints that were shown at Bear Images in San Francisco.
