There's some good stuff here: Alan Schaller.

Definitely worth a look -- and a thought or two. He thinks we're being dwarfed in the modern world, but I've been around long enough to have had more than a taste of the antiquated world, and I can tell you that we're no more dwarfed by or lost in the modern world than we were in the older world. I can understand feeling dwarfed if you live in a metropolis, but in spite of political blather about vote counts, most of us don't.

The photography is very good, and very much worth checking out.

Worth much more than a look! He has both a great eye for geometry and people, as well as a sense of what does make an image worth shooting and looking at afterwards.

I enjoyed the video in his "About" section, and he speaks very well indeed and gets to the point without umming and errring at all, which are speech habits that, as listener, can drive you out of your mind once you latch onto them.

Sadly, it underlines again the barrenness of living in the friggin' sticks if you are interested in street and street art. Personally, it both fires my motor again only for it to switch right off the moment the video ends.

Thanks for such a good link.

Indeed.  Superb work. Inspiring. Perhaps enough to get me off my ass and shooting again, even though, like Rob, I live in "the sticks" and have little access to the fertile fields of urban life.

The film is equally well done, showing both the the photographer's process and the results, using the same style as Schaller.

Thanks again, Jeremy!

Very good stuff indeed.
Alas! He even had an exhibit last year in Boston, and I never knew about it. Bummer!
