Edit with .... options disappeared ?

Maybe it's User Error but it seems that there is a problem with the Edit With.. functionality.  The "list" contains only the last external program I used, and I can't locate the place where I (seem to remember) I selected other items to populate that list.

Shed any light, anyone?

Try the open with plugin under preferences.

For me, when I right click on an image, choose Edit With, I get a list of every image manipulation application on my machine, regardless of whether I have ever used it from Capture One (20). Then there's the option in that list for "Other..." for choosing something else. This is Mac OS (Catalina in my case).

IanSeward had the answer. Enabling the plug-in will allow you to see the application list and pick the ones you would like to show up in the edit with dialog.π

Well, here's an odd thing - unconnected to that problem, I upgraded to Catalina and the problem has gone away. I think it must be what they call One Of Those Things.
