Snow Art Videos
« on: January 23, 2020, 07:28:49 pm »

Simon Beck is a "Snow Artist." and there seem to be a bunch of videos about his work on the web.
One in particular I find the best of several I have looked at is a film by Golem 13 listed on Facebook.

To find it, go to https://www.facebook.com/pg/Golem13.fr/videos/ and scroll down to "Le Snow Art de Simon Beck."

Very creative snow art, and good videography, too.
But you need virgin snow plains and just the right depth of snow.

I agree.

And from viewing some of the other videos of Simon Beck I would say he does travel a LOT looking for pristine snow fields which he can artfully trample.

Those are cool and I've seen them before too. I guess he is using some kind of GPS app to do it?

I like the temporary nature of the medium, like those sand paintings people do. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like he was nearby recently. I heard of mountaineers getting on top of a mountain to discover he had been working below while they climbed.

I think that must be the case, carefully preprogrammed with his intended design.
It is quite amazing that he can march along so quickly and never make a mis-step.
