PTGui and Catalina
« on: January 23, 2020, 06:08:12 pm »

Does anyone know if PTGui will work with Mac Catalina?  I cannot seem to find out from the PTGui website; perhaps I am not looking carefully enough!

Best wishes,

Jonathan

According to the PTGui support forum, it works fine

A rough basic check is to
- open the macOS utility "System Information",
- select item "Applications" (under "Software") at left
- click on the heading "64-bit (Intel)" to sort with the 'No's at the top
and see if the app of interest is a 'No'.

But maybe there are other reasons why an app that works under Mojave fails under Catalina, so the previous reply points to a more reliable strategy for software that has an active discussion forum:

Thanks for the info.  I run PTGui on a PC but am thinking of replacing it with the new 16" MacBook Pro.

Best wishes,
