IPHONE use frustration
« on: January 10, 2020, 09:37:16 pm »

Using a new IPHONE 11.  Frustrated because the camera seem to have a mind of it's own too often.
1-pushing the button to take a photo does not work
2-The above ocurrs when the phone is in the horizontal position--have to go vertical and then go back to horizontal to get an exposure.
3- The phone changes the mode from PHOTo to pano or portrait or slow motion without touching anything.
4-Zooming with finger swipe does not work.

these happen frequently and are becoming very irritating.

ANY suggestions?

Check with Apple. They all seem to be OS issues, not phone issues. None of the things you list are happening with my iPhone 11 Pro.

If you’re serious about photography with an iPhone, try using Lightroom Mobile. Even the free version is great for capturing raw and hdr-raw photos.
