I can imagine, Rob. I hope it is a story with a happy end?

It wasn't; but the impressions lingered, corroded and became part of my visual identity, something which hadn't been a noticed part of it before. Also, digital became available as a no-further-costs recording option that certainly encouraged me to shoot new stuff on which I would never have spent my own money.

That done, lessons learned, I'm pretty much back where I was, waiting for my photographic Godot. Perhaps, more accurately: Godotte?

You know, just like the friggin' watches: diamonds that will, and rhinestones that won't even get you into a lousy nightclub.

;-)

Rob,
I’m sorry to hear it didn’t end well.
I guess it’s not in our nature to end life ‘well’.

I wish you a Godotte, photographically speaking, or whatever your preference is.

 :)

Definitely a photographic Godotte! A final muse, a place to sell the pictures and rock 'n' roll again, and voilà! Mission accomplished.

Photographers are like musicians. We are driven in much the same manner.
