Well, Google has invented a system better at detecting breast cancer than are radiologists. I remember a time when dogs were being trained to smell out cancer. Haven't heard any further news on that one.
I have trained dogs in tracking, in trailing, in rescueing and in biting.
But training
(not me) a dog for cancer or, still more marvelous, detecting an epileptic seizure up to 45m before it occurs, that's magic.
