ColorByte ImagePrint Profiles On Mac

Does anyone know if the ICC profiles which you download from the ColorByte Repositery can be copied into the ~/Library/ColorSync/Profiles folder and then be used with Photoshop by selecting "Photoshop Manages Color" and then choosing the profile and printing through the Epson Driver.

My understanding is that they are specific to the IP engine, but I could be wrong.
