Sigma released this firmware update for this lens in July, but I am just getting around to it now. But the updater software was unable to install the firmware via my iMac. I ran the Sony updater on my a7rm4 earlier today, with a very similar process, and it went fine.
I launch the updater app, turn on the camera, connect the camera to the computer via USB. The wheel spins for a while, and then says firmware cannot be updated. Recommends that I remove the camera battery, relaunch the software, and try again (all to no avail)
I can't find anything on the web about this. Anybody in the Community have any information?
