Catalogs and upgrading from C1P 12 to 20

I bought and downloaded C1P 12 2 weeks ago and have not made any catalogs or edited any photos until I finish watching more learning hub videos as I worked exclusively on LR6. Still on Mac Mojave, no interest in Catalina for now. I do get a free upgrade for C1P 20 but won’t download it until the reported bugs are resolved in upcoming updates. My question is once I start organizing my catalogs on C1P 12, will they automatically populate or transfer over on C1P 20 when I eventually upgrade?

I took the same path as yours, from cp12 to cp20. And the catalogue in the former are shown in the 20. No problem. You mentioned some bugs in 20 reported. What are they?
