Call Spam recommendation & Google Pay question

1) LIke you all, getting a ton of robocalls.  Verizon does have an app, which allows the spammer (or blocked caller) to leave a voicemail. This is important as I do want to know ... ie, I don't trust any software to be 100% accurate. Unfortunately, Verizon will not let me use the app as I have program (postpay) which does not get the app.

I contact both Robokiller and Youmail. Both said, their software does not allow one to leave a voice mail who is blocked. Dealbreaker. You mail said they do but not for iphone users. So any recommendation appreciate. Thanks!

2) Google Pay, I'm on iphone, but some vendors only take Google Pay. I got Google Pay on my iphone, but section to add Touch ID does not work. Google help I think says that only works with Android phones? Is that so, and if so, then how does an iphone user use it?

I don't answer my cell phone except from someone in my contact list. I check my voicemail at the end of the day. I assume everyone that calls and doesn't leave a voicemail is a robocall.

My Pixel2 has call screening from Google. I use it all the time. Maybe a similar feature or app is available to you?

It's a model of smartphone made by Google. But other phones also get Google Apps, I just don't know if this one is available elsewhere. If it isn't, it probably will be eventually.
