Peter, I know what you mean about the orientation of the butterfly but what you see is what I saw.
I guess I can perform advanced surgery and flip the butterfly but in this case I would rather leave it
the way I found it.

The thumbnail is less-saturated than the full-size version on my screen. The less-saturated version looks more natural to me.

sdwilsonsct, no comment on your preference for the less saturated image.  Let me give you
some background on the image's lighting: this butterfly was close to the ground lit up by a low
organge sun.  I can't vouch for the exact intensityt of the light without going back and looking at the original
image.  I shoot in raw.  I can tell you that this critter popped out visually long before I got to it.
What you see in the thumbnail is not even close to how it appeared.
