I received the error E141-4046, which from what I have found online means the purge unit has reached it's end of life. The code mentions reaching a count of 50,000 (Yes this printer was been used a lot!).
Has anyone replaced the purge unit before? 1) Where do I find one? I only seem to find links to stores that have no stock. 2) Where can I find the instructions? I can't seem to find the service manual.
I currently reset the counter so that it will keep printing, but I'd like to buy the part and plan on the repair. It's not worth it to have canon come out, as I'm sure it's as much as a new printer (Which would have to be my next option).
