This, a Faurer shot from the link, is so redolent of a scene in Fellini's
La Dolce Vita
where Marcello and Niko are about to ride together from the
Via Veneto
to go on a trip to an unofficial party in a black nobility palace. I thnk it, the street scene, was actually filmed on a set in Cinecitta studios. Great movie.
