Nice shot.
I'm a but surprised there isn't more snow there yet. I've been in a snow storm at Lake O'Hara which is not too far from Sunshine.
That is a gorgeous area.

Nicely done. It's hard to process these shots and you've done well.

Thank you all for the encouraging comments.

Maddogmurph - tried my best not to over "cook" the processing. sky still needs some work.

Eric - shot was taken on a rather chilly windy morning on August 15 of this year,...  felt like snow was 2 to 3 weeks away,... as I recall that was about when the first snows arrived at this altitude.

Dave - thanks,  hoped the composition gave a sense of distant depth, cause I was certainly high enough to  view that distant drop from the upper meadow.

I was up there in July... in the middle of a blizzard. It can snow up there at any point in the year. The staff said that the lousy weather was more the rule rather than the exception in the summer. The trails were also closed on the first day due to a grizzly bear digging up ground squirrel burrows next to Rock Isle Lake.

It looks like you had really nice conditions... I especially love the dappled light on the peak to the left. Beautiful capture and processing.

Yes, I meant to say that the snow storm I experienced at Lake O'Hara was in July!

Thank you Schertz, Paulo.

It is a really lovely place!  I'd love to spend more time at this area,... maybe one day I'll get back again.

Francois,  thank you so very much.

I also toned down the sky a bit, as my first attempt was a bit over done.

cheers, Leszek
