Panther Extravaganza

Health is wealth. Do it while you're young if you can. That's my advice to any younger photographer. You'll have plenty of time to be old later. My opinion being old and wealthy ... is a good way to waste vitality. Heading out with the girl tomorrow. We're going to put her snow shoes on, and my AT skis and just go get lost. Maybe we'll come back and I'll post again, I never know. But then that's life. We just don't know.

I've been doing a lot less on these photos lately. Maybe I'm lazy, maybe I'm just tired of seeing digital art passed off as the norm. I could sit here and paint the light side of the log... increase the contrast. Pull out the shadow detail. Put in fake sunrays and mist... Sure it would be a more compelling image. Even I'm not above warping... I don't know. Maybe I'll look back and think I could have done more, but how much time do I really want to spend touching these up when I've got 1,000 images behind this one I haven't gotten to.
