BTW, that’s not to say I don’t like it. I do. The geometry is beautiful, and the starkness is challenging.

Yes it reminds me of a prison. The blue is alluring, but only reinforces the unsettling feeling of what is behind the wall.

The framing elevation and perspective reminds me of the Japanese director Ozu’s method of shooting from floor level to make the image more intimate.
