Grid view of the library
« on: November 04, 2019, 06:37:30 pm »

I am moving from LR/PS to CP1 recently and so far so good. One of the things I want to do is to show all of imported images in a grid view just as LR library. Please help. Thank you.

Hi,

On a Windows machine (on a Mac CTRL becomes Command, and ALT becomes Option):
CTRL+T will hide/show the Toolbar
CTRL+ALT+V will hide/show the viewer

When both Toolbar and Viewer are hidden, CTRL+B will show/hide the Browser, which can be set to Grid mode.

You can assign your own shortcut keys if you prefer.

Cheers,
Bart

Thank you kindly. May I ask you to teach me how to assign my own short cut?

There’s a lot of really good information from phase one and partners on working with keyboard shortcuts. I’d recommend searching on “capture one keyboard shortcuts” (tack on “grid view” if you like).

And in addition, one can create personal "Workspaces", i.e. a layout of tools, and save that for later recall. That will allow to change multiple things, like the type and layout of tools, in one go. Don't forget to save your current layout first, e.g as "Default".
