Alterantive Printer Driver?
« on: October 23, 2019, 08:14:28 am »

Let's say I have an Epson P7000. And I wanna deal with CMYK data. As Andrew Rodney said before, the Epson driver does not deal with CMYK data properly. Is there any 3rd party driver that drives Epson and also can deal with CMYK data properly? And FREE?

Thanks
Aaron

Just convert to CMYK then BACK to RGB for the paper and ink using Absolute Colorimetric rendering. Called Cross Rendering.

Yep, but it's also necessary to subsequently print it in Abs. Col. as well or the print will be too dark. Once in Abs. Col., always in Abs Col. Alternately, convert the CYMK using Rel. Col. then you can print Perc. or Rel. Col.
